I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor & Psychotherapist and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP).
I have a Master of Arts degree in Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy from the University of Roehampton London.
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Brunel University London.
I have completed specialist training and have an Open College Network (OCN) Accredited Level 3 qualification in Counselling Skills for Working with Female Survivors of Sexual Violence.
I have over 7 years of experience working within the Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) charity sector, providing information, advice & emotional support to survivors and members of the public via various helplines.
In addition to my therapeutic & helpline work, I have provided Sexual Violence Awareness Trainings and Supervision support to helpline volunteers in VAWG charities.
Before my work in the VAWG sector, I spent over 5 years providing child-protection information, advice & support for both young people and adults within several non-profit organisations.
As a member of the BACP, I am committed to working within their Ethical Framework for Counselling & Guidelines for Good Practice. In accordance with these guidelines, I am committed to continuing my personal and professional development by regularly completing further reading, research & training.
